Fuzzy cutness that makes me SO HAPPY!

I had to add a picture of Kittle. It didn't seem fair to talk about cute fuzzy animals without mentioning her of course. :) Although, this time, I am referring to the little chickens and ducks that Billy and his brother Tom picked up a couple of days ago!

They are so incredibly cute!! I want to play with them everyday. :) This is why:

Loving the 80 degree weather in March.

I've been taking a lot of pictures lately, since I've been outside all the time with the warm weather. It's been in the 80's for the past week in Illinois. That's pretty incredible, since we usually don't have warm weather till like May! Anyways, I ran outside with my dog this evening on my favorite trail, and I had four kids run right up to me when they saw with me with my dog. It was a little overwhelming having a group of little kids run up and want to pet my dog, Kitty. Fortunately they were really sweet, and Kitty was too tired to jump on anyone. ha

This past weekend, Bill made corn beef and cabbage. My sister came over and we had a fire. I loved how we got to spend so much time outside. It was A-MAZING. I also got to hang out with our neighbors and see our sweet nieces. :) At least two of them on Saturday. Plus we had root beer floats. On Sunday, we had dinner with my family and barbecued outside. My sister made vegetable kabobs and hamburgers, and I made a velvet cake with Bill. It was a great weekend.

Happy First Day of Spring!!

Sunday Traditions

We had dinner at my mom's house on Sunday again. I love that this is becoming a tradition of ours. I made a reeses cup dessert, and we had chili, cornbread, and wine for dinner. Earlier in the day, we had visited my mom's dad, my grandpa. He isn't doing to well, but we were glad we got some time to spend with him. I love how many stories he tells about his life. You can just tell that he has a lot of life lessons that anyone younger can benefit from. I know I could. :)

Anyways, it was a really nice weekend together with Bill and my family. Also, I changed my oil with Bill. It was more like Bill changed it and I watched. I also spent hours and hours working on our wedding book that I am creating on Walgreen's website. They have a really good deals on creating books if you're in the market for one. I cannot wait to print ours this week. I have so many good photos to work with, and I can't wait to flip through the book I made for us!

Also, this weekend marks me and Bill's 2 year anniversary from the day we met. It's hard for me not to celebrate that even though we're married, and we should only celebrate our wedding anniversary. I think couples are excused from that unsaid rule in the first year. haha I'll post some pictures from our anniversary date-can't wait!

I hope you all are having a great week! Here are some pictures I took with my phone from a walk we went on this past weekend. The weather was beautiful!!

Our house and decorations so far... (Pics included)

This weekend has been very relaxing but mostly fun. On Friday night, we got several inches of snow, and I was unable to go to my brother's track meet in Naperville. :( I was majorly bummed about that, but the weekend got better on Saturday when we took our nieces, Reese and Lanie, to Brookfield zoo.  Lanie kept running to each different animal in different exhibits, because she was so excited to see each and every animal. It was ADORABLE! Reese was being the sweet older sister and pushing Lanie in her stroller most of the day. She insisted on pushing the stroller-it was super cute. The added bonus? We were virtually the only ones at the zoo. Awesome. :)

Today, we went to church and picked up a few things before going home and cleaned our entire house. I thought I would take a few pictures while everything was really clean. Here's a few of them.

Flowers from Bill. :)

Our Bedroom.

Our shelf. It's a little messy, but I think it's probably the prettiest part of the room with mirror and cool lamp. The small butterfly is actually a night light that Bill uses in the morning so I don't wake up. Not that I would since I'm a very sound sleeper. :)

The other part of our day consisted of going to my mom's house for dinner which is becoming a favorite ritual that both of us love. I couldn't feel happier having that time together to talk about anything and plan fun things throughout the week. Like seeing the movie Lorax. Have you seen the trailer? I'm looking forward to watching it soon!

Hope you all have a good week!

Happy Friday!!

Weekends never seem to be long enough, but here's to hoping this one does. :) Bill and I have some plans with both of our families that I'm excited for. It's becoming a tradition that we go to my mom's house for dinner on Sundays. I love it. I usually bring over salad, bread or a dessert that I made. I love having that time with my family and getting to see them that often. What are you looking forward to this weekend?
