4th of July Weekend

Using cigarettes to light the bottle rockets even though he doesn't smoke. ha

The first time I lit a bottle rocket.

Running to get out of the way.
I like how it's going off in this picture.

This weekend was filled with so many fun things. We went to a wedding with Bill's family in Iowa where we danced together afterward. We ate apple, peach, and raspberry pie in the car and took so many car pictures. :) There were ten people in the car, and we have pictures of each row that I'll post later. It was awesome being with everyone for the weekend.

Yesterday, Bill's family had a 4th of July party. We spent the whole day there. We went swimming after eating. The water felt amazing since it was very hot out. We also visited my dad at his cousin's house where they were having a party as well. Yesterday was the first time that Bill officially met my dad. I think it was good it was at a party. :) Anyways, at the end of the night, we came back to Bill's house and lit off fire works in his parent's front yard. I even lit off a couple of bottle rockets.  I was sad when the night was over. I feel like the whole day was filled with everything I like: good company, food, swimming, dessert, and fireworks. I loved everything about it.

Girl, you are brave setting off a bottle rocket! Sometimes I'm even scared to hold a sparkler! ;o)

I think holidays should always be spent celebrating with friends and family. I like that happy feeling you get being around so many people all day. :o)
